How we store your personal information Your information is securely stored on our encrypted booking system - Pet Sitter Plus.We store personal data for as long as we find it necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was collected, while also considering our need to answer your queries or resolve possible problems, to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws, to attend to any legal claims/complaints, and for safeguarding purposes.This means that we may retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time after your last interaction with us. When the personal data that we have collected is no longer required, we will delete it in a secure manner. Data required for tax and legal purposes are held for 7 years as a requirement by law. 

We may share this information with:

  • Our pet insurance company
  • A veterinary practice 
  • The police in cases of illegal activities 

We may also share your data with Vendors, Consultants and other third party service providers who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal data unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us.
